Huntsville Community Choir Brings the sound of Spring Melodies to Seniors
Huntsville Community Choir Performance at Rogers Cove May 2nd 2025
HUNTSVILLE, ON – May 1, 2025 – The Huntsville Community Choir is sharing the joy of music with local seniors in the lead-up to their highly anticipated spring concerts. In the two weeks preceding their main performances, the choir has been bringing mini-concerts to retirement residences and nursing homes throughout the Huntsville area.
On April 25th, residents of Muskoka Traditions Residence were treated to a special performance by the choir. This was followed by a heartwarming concert at Fairvern Nursing Home on April 29th. The choir's outreach will continue with upcoming performances at Rogers Cove Retirement Residence on May 2nd and Muskoka Landing Retirement Lodge on May 5th.
These performances underscore the Huntsville Community Choir's ongoing dedication to performing choral music within the community and their commitment to energizing and enriching the lives of seniors through cultural engagement. By visiting local homes, the choir fulfills one of its goals of providing accessible and enjoyable musical experiences.
The public is warmly invited to the Huntsville Community Choir's main spring concerts, celebrating the choir's remarkable 36th anniversary. These performances will take place at Trinity United Church in Huntsville on Friday, May 9th and Saturday, May 10th.
